Our Story

CÁEL & CO is a design studio focused on architecture, interiors, and the creation of meaningful spatial experiences. Working across both architecture and interiors, the studio approaches each project as a cohesive spatial composition where building, landscape, and interior are considered as one.

The practice is guided by the belief that architecture should shape atmosphere as much as form. Buildings are not only physical structures but environments that influence how people move, gather, rest, and experience a place. This understanding informs the studio’s interest in spaces that feel calm, immersive, and deeply connected to their surroundings.

CÁEL & CO works across a range of project types including private residences, lodges, hospitality environments, retreats, and select commercial projects. While projects vary in scale and context, the studio maintains a consistent focus on strong architectural ideas, thoughtful spatial planning, and a sensitive response to place.

Particular emphasis is placed on materiality, proportion, light, and the relationship between architecture and landscape. The studio’s work explores how buildings sit within their environment and how interior spaces unfold through sequence, atmosphere, and experience.
