Tarangire, Tanzania

This completed built project is an exclusive use villa set on a hilltop with sweeping, uninterrupted views across the African plains. Built as conceived, the architecture is shaped by the land itself, responding to the site's topography with reverence rather than imposition.

Curved walls trace the natural contours of the hill, echoing both the organic flow of the terrain and the enduring forms of African architecture. The house nestles into the apex, appearing to emerge from the landscape rather than rest upon it.

Double volume living spaces frame panoramic views, allowing the landscape to permeate the interior and become an integral part of the architecture.
